School leading and outreach plans

Hello friends,
I’ve finally gotten around to giving you a quick update. I’m super busy with leading the school right now and hardly find time for anything else—but honestly, I’m really enjoying it.
A lot has happened since the last newsletter. Our last DTS team came back from outreach and had their graduation. They had so many amazing stories to tell and were able to do some really great ministries. After that, we had two weeks of staff training, and then the new DTS students started arriving. I have the privilege of leading alongside an incredible team.
Oh, did I mention that I’m the school leader now? No idea how that happened, but here we are! I’m actually enjoying it way more than I thought I would.

Partly because we have such a passionate and motivated group of students. Honestly, I’m blown away by how awesome they are. Just as one small example: on the first Tuesday, we had evangelism as part of our afternoon program. Then on Wednesday, some of the students went back into the city to evangelize in their free time! How cool is that?
And the way they treat each other and support one another is honestly inspiring. Even though I don’t always get a lot of sleep, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. It’s fun, and I really feel like I’m making a difference.

Topics:
In the past few weeks, we’ve covered the following topics:
Introduction Week (led by me and the other staff)
Character and Nature of God (Barry and Letitia Gager, our base leaders)
Hearing God’s Voice (Brianna Lokeni)
Prayer and Intimacy (James Dixon)
Holy Spirit (Pam and Ray Watson)
Father Heart of God (Mas and Karlyn Mataitoga)
Lordship (Mark Parker)
Outreach plans:
I’m also super excited about our outreach! I’m going back to Vanuatu, Fiji, and New Zealand! I can’t wait to return to these places. For the first time, I’ll get to do outreach in a place I’ve already been to before. I’m really looking forward to picking up where we left off last time and bringing some continuity to the work there.

Plans to visit Switzerland:
I'm planning to come to Switzerland this summer—partly to visit friends and family, and also to be part of two weddings. Ruben, one of my closest friends since childhood, and his fiancée Salome are getting married at the end of August. And just one week later, my best friends here in New Zealand, Naomi and Raphael, are getting married in Germany. They even asked me to MC their wedding (no idea what that actually means, but it sounds like a lot of fun haha).
I'd really love to be there for these super special days in the lives of my closest friends. As you can probably guess, I don’t have the money for the flights just yet. I quickly checked ticket prices today, and at the moment a return flight costs around 1,600 USD. I still have some time, but the earlier I can book, the cheaper it’ll be.
So, if anyone would like to help out with a small or big contribution toward the flight—I’d be incredibly grateful.
